Panchase Trek, Annapurna Trek, 10 days
This is a panoramic trek to beyond Phewa Lake in Pokhara. Panchase Trek is one of the best short trekking route around Pokhara Nepal, Unforgettable closer Mountain View, mid-hill cultural and total wildness experience, inhabited by different ethnical groups, untouched biodiversity and natural heritage site, and now a days it is a unique photographic destination in Nepal. From Panchase you will see the great Himalayan peaks of Macchapuchare, Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Lamjung and Manaslu. The terrain varies from subtropical valleys of banana trees and rice paddies to high ridges covered in rhododendron forest. This supports an abundant array of bird life. Along the way you will see many ethnic mixes, such as Brahmin, Magar and Gurung.
This trek is off the beaten path and it is unlikely that you will meet many other trekkers, and this trek is suitable for most fitness levels.
Panchase Trek, Annapurna Trek, 10 days
Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
Our staff will greet you at the airport and transfer group to hotel and discuss trekking gear checklist and brief on the trek. Welcome dinner with local culture dances. (L, D)
Day 2: Drive and arrive at Resort in Chitwan at around 12-1pm (5 hours drive) (flight option). Refreshment drink and briefing about the accommodation and the facilities. After lunch our manager will brief you about the program of the following days. After a short rest, visit to the Tharu village and the National Park Visitors Center. Sunset view from the riverbank. Day 3: Elephant back safari in the morning and after breakfast Dugout canoe trip followed by a Nature Walk Program or a visit to the Elephant Breeding Farm. Enjoy an ox-cart ride or a jeep drive back to the resort. After a refreshment you can wash the elephants and swim with them in the Rapti River. Lunch. Dinner with Tharu dancing performance. (B, L, D)
Day 4: After tea or coffee you will go for a bird watching tour. B/F. Drive to Pokhara (stay overnight. (4 hours) (B, L, D)
Day 5: Pokhara – Khade Khola to Bhumdi (1600m, 5hrs) Drive to Khade Khola and trek seep up hill for lunch. After lunch path leads to bhumdi easy walk along the villages for beauty full views of mountains. (B, L, D)
Day 6: Bhumdhi – Panchase Bhanjang (2000m, 7hrs)
Beautiful morning with Mountain View to the north. Trek start with steady climb to westward through bushes and trees. It will be good day for those who are interested on birds. (B, L, D)
Day 7: Panchase – Bhadure (1700m, 4hrs)
Weak up morning after breakfast walk up to Panchase 2500mtr for the view and walk down to same campsite after lunch walk to Bhadure. (B, L, D)
Day 8: Bhadure – Dhampus via Kare (1600m, 6hrs) From Bhadure can finish the trek via Naudada or trek up hill to Kare and climb to Dhampuss big Gurung village. (B, L, D)
Day 9: Dampus to Kathmnadu. After breakfast, trek to Phedi and drive to Pokhara airport and fly back to Kathmandu. Half day sightseeing of Kathmandu and stay overnight at hotel (B, L)
